The 2010 Enterprize Canada Entrepreneurship Conference
Glenn Wong, Former President of Electronic Arts, to Present at Closing Keynote.
The 2010 Enterprize Canada Entrepreneurship Conference and Business Plan Competition, will be held this weekend, February 5th – 7th and brought together over 150 delegates, 22 speakers, and over 100 business professionals to celebrate the spirit of entrepreneurship.
Renowned as Canada’s leading entrepreneurial conference and largest student-run business plan competition, Enterprize Canada provides a glimpse into the future of Canadian innovation and growth. Hosted and organized by students from the University of British Columbia’s Sauder School of Business, Enterprize Canada is a multi-faceted conference which links prominent young Canadian entrepreneurs from coast-to-coast through a broad spectrum of events. Student delegates are connected with industry leaders and budding entrepreneurs though a variety of interactive workshops, excellent networking opportunities, two keynote presentations and a gala dinner and awards ceremony.
After advancing from the regional competitions in Vancouver, Guelph and Halifax, twelve of the top teams in Canada presented their business plans to a panel of judges, each experts in their fields and coming from diverse backgrounds.
Now in its ninth year, this year’s conference featured many new events including an entrepreneurial fair and the BCIC Innovation Challenge. The Innovation Challenge was an opportunity for delegates to create a mini business plan for an innovative technology centered around the 2010 Winter Games, while working with several changing constraints and resources as seen in the real business world.
You are invited to interview the Enterprize Canada organizing committee, business plan competitors and judges. Send email to Stas Pavlov for more information.
