SAUDER RECEPTION – SEPTEMBER 1ST, 2009

Along with the International Business Club, Enterprize put on an exciting event for over 250 first year Sauder students. The night featured activities designed for the first year students to get to know each other as well as to get a better understanding of Sauder life with breakout sessions focusing on the importance of entrepreneurship and international business.

Along with Life Pilot, Enterprize presented Discover, a day long event that helped undergraduate students outside of the faculty of commerce find their direction for their future careers.

BCIC INNOVATION EXPLORATION – OCTOBER 17TH, 2009

As a part of Innovation Exploration event for Science Fair Winners from British Columbia and the Yukon, Enterprize Canada was excited to participate in this fantastic event and lead the BCIC Innovation Challenge for the 72 science fair winners at the Vancouver Aquarium.

ENTERPRIZE LIVE: STARTING UP YOUR VENTURE – OCTOBER 24TH, 2009

Enterprize Live: Starting Up Your New Venture is an interactive Q&A that was streamed live to students, professors, entrepreneurs, and business professionals across Canada on October 24, 2009 at 1:00pm PST. Held in partnership with TechVibes, the webcast featured two panellists Harley Finklestein and Aydin Mirzaee, with specializations in serial entrepreneurship and web technology, discussing user submitted questions about all aspects of starting up a new venture from the ground-up.

SOCIAL ENTREPRENEURSHIP EXPERIENCE

The Social Entrepreneurship Experience (SEE) is a brand new one-day conference to stimulate dialogue and creativity between students and established community leaders on the topic of social and sustainable business. This one-day, fast-paced conference will be filled with inspiring speakers, business industry panellists, and the Social Innovation Challenge.

ENTERPRIZE DATE AUCTION –NOVEMBER 27TH, 2009

Enterprize Canada and some of the University of British Columbia’s finest, most talented bachelors and bachelorettes will be at Enterprize Canada’s Date Auction on November 27th, 2009 at Caprice Nightclub. The auction will start at 8:00pm, to be held privately at Caprice and then followed by an after party. This promises to be an unforgettable night.

SPOTLIGHT – JANUARY 14TH, 2010

With the purpose of connecting ambitious students with local leading-edge entrepreneurs and innovators from various backgrounds, Spotlight provides an engaging networking environment to encourage dialogue and ideas. Students will have the opportunity to discover current unconventional examples of entrepreneurship in the local community and meet the faces behind these initiatives.
