This year, Enterprize Canada expands its scope to high school students with the newly-formed miniEnterprize Youth Entrepreneurship Conference.

The inaugural 2009 miniEnterprize Youth Entrepreneurship Conference strives not only to inspire students and instill the concept of entrepreneurship, but also to teach basic entrepreneurial skills through interactive workshops and activities. Most importantly, we aid in building and sustaining connections and dialogue between our participants and current leaders of our economy.

miniEnterprize’s vision is to foster the entrepreneurial spirit within youth and empower them to take initiative by creating an interactive environment capable of inspiring and nurturing innovative ideas.

The 2009 miniEnterprize Youth Entrepreneurship Conference will engage 250 high school students across the Lower Mainland in themes relevant to today’s youth development in the business world. The conference consists of two keynote speaker presentations, an innovation challenge with a judging panel and two workshop sessions where delegates can choose one of the five sectors:
  • Entrepreneurship
  • Economics
  • Information and Technology
  • Arts and Culture
  • Retail and Fashion

Lunch and refreshments will be provided on the day of the conference.
