What is Enterprize Canada?
Enterprize Canada is an entrepreneurship-focused organization that hosts Canada’s largest undergraduate entrepreneurship conference and business plan competition. Held February 5th-7th, 2010, over 350 delegates and competitors from across Canada will come together to participate in Enterprize Canada’s 3-day, 2-night entrepreneurship conference or business plan competition (Semi-Finals and Finals).
How can I register for the 2010 Enterprize Canada Entrepreneurship Conference?
Tickets to the 2010 Enterprize Canada Entrepreneurship Conference will be open November 9th, 2009 until January 25th, 2010.
How do I sign up for workshops at the conference?
Workshop registration will open closer to the conference date and are done online. However, speaker line-ups and bios will be continually updated throughout as they become available. Enterprize Canada will send out notifications and provide links to all conference ticket purchasers for registration.
The conference team has worked hard to create a workshop structure that allows for flexibility while still being tailored to specific audiences and knowledge levels. By providing guided suggestions, but also room for delegates to choose workshops they know will be most valuable to them, Enterprize hopes every delegate will enjoy interactive workshops which will best complement his/her background and interests.
What time do I arrive at the hotel?
You will be contacted before the conference as to your check-in time.
I am an out-of-city delegate and would like to stay in Vancouver longer. Is it possible to book rooms before or after the conference?
Yes. Enterprize is able to offer a room flat rate of $150 at the Vancouver Sheraton Wall Centre up to 4 days before and 2 days after the conference. (Max occupancy per room is four (4) persons.) This would be booked under Enterprize Canada; however, all non-conference meals and other costs will be your responsibility. Booking requests must be received by Sunday, January 24th, 2010. Please contact registration@enterprizecanada.org for further details!
Do I have to book a room in a group of four people?
Of course not! This is part of the Enterprize Canada experience where you get to meet new people. When you purchase your ticket, you will be asked at a later date to pick your roommates. When you purchase your ticket, you have the option of specifying roommates (no guarantees, as room placement will be based on room logistics) up to 3 other roommates, or specifying no-one at all! Should you change your mind on a later date, just let us know!
What if I want only a room of two people?
Double rooms are available should you request it at registration@enterprizecanada.org; however, please note that an extra charge of $75 per person will apply.
I live close to the hotel where the nationals are being held. Can I go home during the conference?
Unfortunately, due to liability reasons, we ask that you do not leave the conference for an extended period of time (except for the allotted free time).
Can I bring friends into the hotel for Enterprize Canada? Can my friends stay with me in my hotel room overnight?
We kindly ask that any person that is not a registered delegate of Enterprize Canada to stay outside of the conference area (such as the ballrooms and hallways around those rooms). However, we encourage you to meet with your friends in the lobby and/or restaurant of the hotel.
As per hotel policy, we ask that you do not bring friends up to your hotel room for an extended period of time or overnight, unless they are a registered delegate of Enterprize Canada. Non-registered attendees or visitors are not to be in any of the hotel rooms, at any time during the conference. Any extra charges that occur as a result of an extra person staying in one of the hotel rooms shall be charged to the occupants.
Please contact the registration centre at registration@enterprizecanada.org for any registration inquiries or the 2010 Enterprize Canada Entrepreneurship Conference Portfolio at conference@enterprizecanada.org for all other conference inquires.
